The CNA will provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to help adults remain safe and independent at home, following a written plan of care established by a registered nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal preparation, range of motion exercises, transfers, medication reminders, and vital sign checks.
Candidates must have at least one year of work experience and must have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course to be certified. Essential qualities include a passion for caregiving, commitment to quality care, empathy, patience, kindness, respect, and the ability to travel to assigned clients' homes.
