The Certified Pharmacy Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmacy services, including preparing medications, managing inventory, conducting compliance audits, handling financial transactions, and ensuring excellent customer service under the pharmacist's direction. Essential functions involve accurately receiving and verifying prescriptions, educating patients on medication use, and strictly adhering to all infection-control policies.
A High School Degree or GED is required, along with a valid ExCPT or PTCB Certification and registration with the State Board of Pharmacy. Previous experience in retail, ambulatory, outpatient, hospital, acute care, or home infusion pharmacy settings is preferred, alongside strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
