The physician will assess the physical status of clients via examination and history, formulating treatment plans, writing prescriptions, and ordering diagnostic studies for health problems. They are also responsible for evaluating the quality of care provided, sharing clinical expertise, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Candidates must possess an MD/DO from an accredited medical school and be Board Certified or Board Eligible, having completed an ACGME Accredited Pain Medicine Fellowship. Essential requirements include obtaining an unrestricted Kentucky Medical License, holding DEA certification, possessing strong procedural skills, and demonstrating excellent communication abilities.

UofL Health/UofL Physicians Group, located in Louisville, KY, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pain Management Physician to join its growing pain medicine team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient lives while practicing within an academic health system affiliated with the University of Louisville. Our specialists work closely with UofL Health’s primary care network to institute a sustainable approach to pain management. The physician will work in a multispecialty clinical office.
