Under the direction of a licensed nurse, the role involves participating in patient and family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, basic care skills, customer service skills, and clerical support. The position also requires managing multiple demands in an ever-changing environment under the direction of an RN or LVN.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent education, successful completion of a medical terminology course, and be currently enrolled in an LVN or RN school program or have completed a nurse assistant training program. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, and current nurse assistant experience is preferred.
EDUCATION Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience Other: Successful completion of medical terminology course.
