The primary role involves providing expert vascular access services, including the bedside insertion of PICCs, midlines, extended dwell catheters, and peripheral IV catheters at client sites. Responsibilities also include the examination, assessment, and evaluation of patients with existing vascular access devices.
Candidates must possess a current RN license in the working state along with current ACLS and BCLS certifications, and have completed a vascular access competency skills checklist. The role demands high professionalism, strong communication, patient focus, and the ability to operate in diverse healthcare environments.
