The EEG Technician performs electroencephalograms (EEGs) and evoked potential (EVP) tests to aid in diagnosing and treating neurological conditions, which includes patient assessment, observation, and accurate procedure execution. Essential functions involve communicating with patients, documenting changes, scheduling appointments, verifying charges, and maintaining a clean, stocked work area.
Candidates should preferably have completion of a formal EEG Technician training program from a technical school, along with 0-2 years of experience performing EEGs or related clinical work. A required certification is Basic Life Support (BCLS).

Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions in a clinical environment. Basic computer skills for entering charges, managing schedules, and documenting patient information.
