The physician will provide comprehensive emergency medical care in a community hospital setting, managing patient flow within a 24-hour physician coverage model and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff. Duties include evaluating and managing emergency conditions, stabilizing medium acuity cases, and accurately documenting all encounters in the McKesson – Allscripts EMR.
Candidates must possess an active Tennessee Medical License and DEA, along with required certifications including ACLS, ATLS, and PALS (unless ABEM Certified). Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine is required, with Board Certification preferred, and prior Emergency Medicine experience is a plus.
