- Location : 7625 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95832 Schedule : FT 4/10s Compensation : $ 29 - $ 35 / hr (five dollar an hour shift diff depending on schedule) Sign on Bonus : One Thousand Dollars VCA Mueller Pet Medical Center is a 24-hour AAHA-accredited hybrid GP/ER hospital in Sacramento seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our growing Emergency & Critical Care team.
- This position is ideal for an RVT who enjoys fast-paced medicine, critical thinking, inpatient care, and being part of a collaborative team that genuinely supports one another.
- Our RVTs are highly utilized and play an active role in emergency stabilization, triage, anesthesia, inpatient treatments, diagnostics, and critical patient care.

- The ideal candidate is someone who can confidently step into a busy hospital environment while helping support efficient patient flow, high-quality medicine, and exceptional patient care.
- What You’ll Do Our RVTs are actively involved in: Emergency triage and patient stabilization Inpatient and ICU treatments and monitoring Venipuncture and catheter placement Anesthesia induction and monitoring Laboratory and diagnostic support Critical patient nursing care Client communication and education Collaboration with DVMs across emergency, inpatient, and GP services Compensation & Benefits Compensation is based on experience, skillset, and credentialing, with additional shift differentials available for swing and overnight coverage.
