The role involves providing direct nursing care according to established organizational policies and implementing and monitoring patient care plans. Responsibilities also include monitoring and communicating patient conditions, coordinating care across disciplines, and carrying out physician and nursing orders.
Candidates must possess a Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to the hire date and must obtain BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire. A diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or required professional licensure at hire is mandatory, with 6 months of acute care hospital RN experience preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role Learns and performs peritoneal dialysis, providing safe treatment and monitoring patients for complications. Manages and supports hemodialysis care, ensuring treatments are delivered correctly and patients are closely monitored. Teaches and supports families, educating them on how to care for their family members and recognize signs that need medical attention. Provides medical nursing care to both renal and non-renal patients, using clinical skills to support a wide range of patient needs.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
