The role involves leading patient care by prioritizing, coordinating, and delegating all care touchpoints, while collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to ensure appropriate direct patient care and maintain a safe environment. Responsibilities also include monitoring patient conditions, preventing and treating wounds, executing infection control requirements, and ensuring continuity of care and patient education.
Candidates must possess a current nursing license to practice in Louisiana as defined by the State Board of Nursing, along with current American Heart Association BLS and PALs certifications. The position is for a full-time day shift role at University Medical Center.
