The LPN provides nursing care, administers medication, and monitors clients for side effects or signs of intoxication. They also maintain accurate medical records and facilitate the prescribed plan of care under the direction of a Nurse Manager.
Candidates must hold a current NYS LPN License and an NYS Infection Control Certificate. A minimum of one year of experience as an LPN, preferably in substance abuse treatment, is required.

Position reports to: Nurse Manager

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, provides nursing care to ensure client receives optimum, quality, cost effective care.
Current NYS LPN License Current NYS Infection Control Certificate Minimum one year experience as an LPN, preferably in a substance abuse treatment program Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with all populations served. Ability to speak, read and write the English language. Proficiency with computers.
• Must possess sight and digital senses or prosthetics that will enable the essential functions of the job to be completed.
