The Interventional Radiologic Technologist operates digital equipment and performs complex Neuro and Interventional invasive procedures by positioning patients and preparing contrast media for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This role involves assisting the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of patients while working with various agents like chemotherapy and embolization materials.
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited Radiography program and hold a State of Connecticut Radiographer license along with ARRT certification in Radiography and Basic Life Support (BLS). The role is 100% clinical and may require mandatory call as needed, with willingness to train technologists in Interventional Radiology and Neuro.
