California massage therapists remain in steady demand

In California, massage therapist roles are commonly tied to spas, wellness centers, clinics, and hospitality settings, so demand often follows local client volume and employer scheduling needs. These positions can be competitive because employers typically look for active or in-progress licensure, completion of a recognized massage therapy program, and strong client-service skills.
