The primary role involves maintaining efficient patient flow and assisting physicians and nurses with direct patient care tasks under supervision. Key duties include recording patient data like vital signs, preparing exam rooms, assisting with procedures, and performing basic lab work such as phlebotomy.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and certification from an accredited medical assistant program. Preferred qualifications include prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant in a clinical setting, Certified Medical Assistant status, and phlebotomy experience.
