The Aide provides personal care services under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Therapist, assisting clients with general Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, meals, and safe transfers. Responsibilities also include providing companionship, authorized transportation, reporting client condition changes, and maintaining accurate care records.
Candidates must have active registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry and be at least eighteen years old, demonstrating the ability to read, write, and follow a written care plan. Required qualifications also include being a licensed driver with insured and well-maintained automobile, current CPR certification, TB clearance, and maintaining required abuse acknowledgment and training compliance.

Job Summary Provides personal care services under the direction of the Registered Nurse or Therapist. The Aide is assigned to specific clients by the Registered Nurse or other appropriate professional who performs services for clients as necessary to maintain their personal comfort and well-being.
Provide companionship and, if authorized, transportation to clients according to the care plan. Assist client with general Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, meals, and safe ambulation/transfers. Report any changes in the client’s condition to the supervisor as outlined in the care plan. Document care provided and maintain accurate records for the Agency. Work collaboratively with the client’s care team and ensure effective communication. Promote client safety by following infection control practices and reporting unsafe conditions. Attend in-service programs to meet compliance and notify supervisors of any educational needs.
Active registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Demonstrated ability to read, write, and follow a written care plan. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements and in good repair. Current CPR certification and TB clearance. Maintain SOC341A Abuse Acknowledgment complaint in accordance with state law. Complete entry level and annual training in accordance with state law.
