The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and performing therapeutic procedures like suturing and wound care. Responsibilities also include prescribing treatments, developing patient management plans, and regularly communicating follow-up care information to patients.
Candidates must possess an unrestricted and active license as a registered professional nurse in New Jersey, along with Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the NJ Board of Nursing. Additional requirements include state and federal controlled substance registrations and either current DOT certification or willingness to obtain it within six months of hire.
