About the role

The Clinical Coordinator for Ambulatory Pharmacy is responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services to patients and providers while acting as a liaison to establish and maintain relationships with prescribers. This role involves collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs aimed at improving patient compliance and healthcare outcomes.

Description

The Clinical Coordinator for Ambulatory Pharmacy provides clinical pharmacy services to patients and providers and serves as a liaison to establish and maintain relationships with prescribers. Collaborates with healthcare providers to develop and implement clinical pharmacy programs to improve patient compliance and healthcare outcomes. Partners with all stakeholders to onboard new therapies. Estimated salary range for this position is $129932.84 - $168912.69 / year depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Licenses &
  • Certifications: Registered Pharmacist.
  • Additional
  • Qualifications: Either completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency and certification (e. g. BCPS, CSP, BCACP, fellowship) OR certification (e. g. BCPS, CSP, BCACP, fellowship) and 6 years of experience in the field. Florida Consultant Licensure within 3 months of hire. Ability to develop and direct pharmacy operational, clinical, and educational programs. Knowledge of specialty and rare disease medications preferred. Knowledge of home infusion, outpatient infusion, specialty pharmacy, mail order, and/or general pharmacy operations is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other graphic or presentation software.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctorate degree and be a Registered Pharmacist, requiring either completion of an ASHP accredited residency plus certification or certification plus six years of relevant experience. Additional requirements include obtaining Florida Consultant Licensure within three months of hire and demonstrating the ability to develop and direct pharmacy operational, clinical, and educational programs.
