The role involves providing emergency and critical care for small animals and some exotic pets, covering specific overnight and day shifts, including Wednesday and Thursday overnights and Saturday/Sunday day shifts. The veterinarian will utilize available resources like laser therapy, hospitalization, and bloodwork analysis to manage emergency cases.
Candidates must be compassionate, strong communicators, and experienced in Emergency Medicine. Essential qualifications include holding a Doctor of Veterinary degree and maintaining an active veterinary state license.
Company Description Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown Virginia is GROWING!! We are looking to add an emergency veterinarian to our four DVM awesome team! We are a privately owned clinic dedicated to providing state of the art emergency & critical care for small animals & some exotic pets. We offer laser therapy, hospitalization, bloodwork (Abaxis blood machine), and most emergency surgeries.
We’re looking for Relief Veterinarians who are compassionate, team players and strong communicators experienced in Emergency Medicine. We are looking for Wednesday and Thursday overnights (6PM-8AM or 4PM to Midnight) and Saturday and Sunday day shift (8AM-6PM).
Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university Active veterinary state license Current DEA License preferred but not required USDA Accreditation preferred but not required
