About the role

The General Surgeon Clinical Associate will provide general surgery care in a community setting at a Critical Access Hospital on the Oregon Coast, working collaboratively with various medical providers. This role involves a balanced mix of dedicated Operating Room time and clinic time, along with maintaining a 1:4 general surgery call schedule.

Department Overview Columbia Memorial Hospital in collaboration with Oregon Health & Science University are searching for a general surgeon to join our Astoria, Oregon group of surgeons who provide general surgery care to patients in a community setting.

Function/Duties of Position General Surgery opportunity at a Critical Access Hospital on the Oregon Coast with an affiliation Oregon’s only academic medical center.

Practice Details Clinical Associate role with a balanced mix of dedicated OR and clinic time.

Collaborative, established relationships with surgeons, oncology providers, radiologists, pathologists, hospitalists and primary care providers 1:4 General Surgery call while maintaining prompt offsite availability.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school and be Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery. An active, unrestricted Oregon Medical License and a DEA Certificate are also required qualifications for this position.
