Position Overview Pulmonologist – Critical Care FocusBartow Regional Medical Center | Bartow, Florida BayCare Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonologist with a strong focus in Critical Care Medicine to provide dedicated ICU coverage at Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow, Florida.

This role is ideal for a physician who enjoys an inpatient-focused practice, meaningful collaboration with hospital-based teams, and the opportunity to support high-acuity patient care in a growing community hospital setting.

The physician in this role will provide comprehensive critical care services within the ICU for hospitalized patients.

The practice environment emphasizes teamwork, quality outcomes, and patient-centered care.

Position Highlights include: Primary responsibility is ICU coverage at Bartow Regional Medical Center Participation in multidisciplinary rounds and coordinated care planning Supportive, physician-led organizational culture with engaged hospital leadership Bartow Regional Medical Center is a 72-bed acute care hospital serving Polk County and the surrounding Central Florida region.

The hospital features a modern ICU, expanding clinical services, and the resources of BayCare Health System—recognized as one of the most respected not-for-profit health systems in the nation.

Requirements

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine with a completed accredited fellowship. An unrestricted Florida medical license is required along with strong collaborative communication skills.
