The Recovery Specialist establishes relationships with patients, teaching and supporting them in their recovery journey. They also document interactions and facilitate referrals to community resources.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with personal experience with addiction and recovery. Candidates must also pass background checks and have at least 18 months in recovery from substance dependence.

What You’ll Be Doing Supporting clients through overnight programming and activities Monitoring safety, behavior, and daily living needs Acting as a go between for clients and clinical staff Helping with intakes, paperwork, assessments, and documentation Assisting during crises (with training and supervision) Transporting clients to meetings or appointments when needed Supporting recovery focused routines with empathy and professionalism You’ll receive frequent supervision, guidance, and training, so you’re never on your own.
What You Need High school diploma or GED Ability to stay awake, alert, and engaged overnight Valid driver’s license plus a clean driving record Willingness to complete required PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances, drug screen, TB test, and CPR/First Aid. If you’re in recovery yourself, we welcome your lived experience (18+ months in recovery required).
