As a respiratory therapist, you treat residents with temporary or chronic respiratory conditions. You will conduct diagnostic tests to determine the respiratory conditions of your residents. Respiratory Therapist Qualifications: Current and valid RRT for the State of Illinois Knowledge of physiology and the respiratory system. Empathy and compassion. At least one year experience in long-term care.
