As a Registered Nurse (RN), the primary duties involve providing direct care to residents and supervising the activities performed by nursing assistants. The role also requires charting, maintaining documentation, preparing and administering medications, and fostering positive team relationships.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or higher, hold a valid and current nursing license in Illinois, and maintain current CPR certification. A minimum of one year of experience specifically in long-term care is required.
