The Transplant Hepatology Physician will manage patients with liver cancer and hepato-oncology in an outpatient clinic setting. The role includes providing inpatient services and collaborating with a team of hepatologists and advanced practice providers.

Transplant Hepatology Job Opportunity Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Transplant Hepatologist to join an established practice that is located at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax. Opportunity Highlights: Experience with liver cancer management and hepato-oncology Join an established and busy practice located in downtown Dallas, Texas Collaborative team structure with a total of 15 hepatologists across the DFW region: 8 based in Dallas, 1 in Plano, and 6 in Fort Worth Outpatient clinic with call for inpatient service Average 10-15 patients per day Call is split amongst the providers Well-supported practice model that includes both Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs), with a team of 4 Advanced Practice Providers dedicated to the Dallas location

Qualifications

Doctorate Degree in Medicine Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists

Requirements

Candidates must have a Doctorate Degree in Medicine and be licensed to practice in Texas. Board certification in Transplant Hepatology is preferred or candidates should be actively pursuing certification.
