Experience / Qualifications
At least 1 year experience required
Basic Rhythm Strip interpretation exam with a passing score of 80% or higher.
American Heart Association BLS Certification for Health Care Providers.
The Monitor Technician is a nursing team member who interprets cardiac monitor, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Provides continuous cardiac monitoring observation and documentation of cardiac rhythm on a routine basis. The Monitor Tech communicates changes in the cardiac rhythm to the charge nurse and primary nurse.
Performs other duties as assigned.
