The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assesses patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, contributing to individualized treatment planning under RN supervision. Key duties include implementing treatment programs, administering medications (including IV therapy if certified), and documenting nursing encounters using SOAP charting.
Candidates must be graduates from an accredited school of nursing and preferably possess a minimum of one year of clinic experience. Applicants must maintain current licensure as an LPN/LVN in the state of employment and be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
