The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse position is to provide direct patient care, perform nursing procedures, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diagnostic and interventional cardiology patients in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting as observed by the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager, and patient/family feedback unless otherwise noted.
What You’ll Do Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Perform nursing procedures for diagnostic and interventional cardiology patients. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout treatment. Ensure care quality as observed by the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager. Incorporate patient and family feedback into care evaluation
What You’ll Bring Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. Minimum one (1) year of experience in special procedures, radiology, or Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory required. Applicants with at least one (1) year of recent experience in Critical Care, Telemetry, or Emergency Department nursing will also be considered. Current ACLS and BLS certifications required. Completion of 6–8 weeks of Cath Lab procedure training with an experienced nurse preceptor for newly hired Cath Lab nurses. Compensation (NJ Job Transparency Law) The expected hourly range for this position is XH/99H:$55.00 per hour, in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
