They often see too many patients in a day, work long hours, and are constantly pressured to hit their metrics. This can be incredibly frustrating and lead to burnout. We believe that physical therapist assistants should be able to focus on their patients without having to worry about these things. That's why we offer a supportive environment with a manageable patient load so you can focus on providing the best possible care that helps patients see real results and experience real rehab.
Hi, I am Jordan Black, PT, DPT of Tristar Physical Therapy. I hope you are okay with me telling you a little about our backstory.
Much like you, I’ve always had an overwhelming passion for helping people feel relief from pain. To see a patient recover and get back to doing what they love, to have Movement Without Pain, to say to you “Thank you for being my solution”.
However, years ago, I had experiences with my own personal injuries. I went to what was considered the best of the best in my local area at that time. Only to feel… Like a number That there was no real accountability And that they weren’t on the cutting edge of developing the best, and most results-oriented methods to help heal those in pain I can only think of the multitude of reasons why I and so many others have had such a poor experience. Those physical therapists were probably seeing too many patients per day, they weren’t able to provide the care that they wanted to give each patient and weren’t making the impact that they had dreamed of when becoming physical therapists.
I remember coming home late and being so frustrated.
Almost to the point where I was wondering if rehabilitation was really the career for me.
Don't get me wrong I learned a ton during those experiences, but I wanted to make sure whatever I created was to "Be Different".
So, I started my own little "project", at least that's what I called it.
A few years ago, I decided to open my own practice with the goal of providing one-on-one care to my patients and really getting to know them and their goals. I wanted to help my patients get back to the activities they love without pain. I wanted to create an environment where growth and improvement are at the forefront of what we practice - where we truly believe in getting our patients real results with real rehab with real people.
Since opening our doors, we have been fortunate enough to grow quickly and have amazing team members, and hear time and time again from our patients that we are “their solution”.
We are now looking for a new full-time physical therapist assistant to join our team.
Over the past couple of years, we have been able to help Tens of 1000s of local residents.
Though patient volume, number of new patients, and gross revenue may have their place…
The key “metrics” will never be more important than customer satisfaction and staff retention rates.
And for that, we are blessed to have such a great team.
We would love to have the opportunity to meet you and see if you might be a good fit for our team. We are looking for a passionate, outgoing, and experienced physical therapist to work with us full-time. The ideal candidate must be able to provide amazing clinical care to patients and have experience in outpatient orthopedics. New grads are welcome to apply.
We typically get about 5-10 Applicants per Job posting so please apply ASAP.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Jordan Black, PT, DPT
