Autism Delaware is seeking compassionate, dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support adults with autism as they achieve their goals and thrive in their communities.
• What
• You’ll Do: Build positive, supportive relationships with individuals with autism. Advocate for full community integration and assist individuals in achieving independence. Serve as a mentor and role model, following individualized Person-Centered Plans. Support individuals with their employment, social, and recreational activities. Monitor progress, document behaviors, and report any concerns. Collaborate with a team of professionals to provide holistic support. Maintain safety and compliance with State and Autism Delaware regulations.

• Looking
• For: 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and up-to-date auto insurance. Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and driving record reviews. Knowledge of autism spectrum disorders and best practices (preferred, but not required). Patience, flexibility, and a desire to work collaboratively in a team environment.
