The OR Assistant is responsible for preparing the operating room by sanitizing surfaces and equipment, assisting the surgical team with patient positioning, and cleaning the room between procedures. Duties also include managing linen/scrub attire and assisting with inventory receiving and case picking.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent along with proficiency in basic medical terminology, and BLS certification is preferred. Essential qualifications involve attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift items up to 50 pounds.
