The Certified Nurse Assistant provides essential healthcare for residents under the direction of a nurse, assisting them with daily tasks and personal hygiene needs. This role involves responding to resident calls, providing physical support for activities like bathing and walking, and ensuring dietary requirements are met.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent and hold a current State Certified Nursing Assistant certification. The position requires providing direct, compassionate support to residents in a nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Provides health care for residents under the direction of a nurse. Assists patients under their care with day-to-day tasks, playing a vital support role.
Answers resident calls and determines how best to help them. Provides physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, using the toilet, walking, standing or exercising. Turns and repositions bedridden patients. Ensures residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences. Provides encouragement and support with eating. Delivers compassionate support, attention, and assistance to residents and families. Performs other related duties as required and directed.
