The therapist will collaborate with Prevea providers to manage patients or families concerning the prevention, early identification, and treatment of mental or emotional issues. Responsibilities include assessing referred patients, providing direct psychotherapy and family therapy, and participating in education and consultation programs.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in a relevant field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, along with experience working with low-income clients. Required licensure includes being licensed in Wisconsin as a psychologist, clinical social worker, marriage and family therapist, professional counselor, or psychiatric nurse, plus Medicaid outpatient certification and Basic Life Support certification.
