The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will work closely with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans, helping patients regain independence in daily living activities. This role also involves documenting treatments, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and providing encouragement to patients and their families.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold or be eligible for licensure in Colorado. A minimum of one year of experience within a skilled nursing facility is required for this position.
The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant provides direct therapy services in occupational therapy to patients upon physician referral and under the supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in accordance with all applicate laws, regulations, and Center at Park West standards.
