The Medical Technologist MLT prepares, performs, and records testing procedures across various sections of the Clinical Laboratory according to established criteria. This includes following procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and maintaining accurate patient test result records.
Prepares, performs and records testing procedures in accordance with established criteria as assigned with any or all the sections of the Clinical Laboratory.
• Associate’s degree of applied science in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related science.
• Certification as MLT (AMT), MLS (ASCP), CLT (NCA) or equivalent preferred.
