Technologists are responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening and radiation safety protocols when handling radioactive materials, while producing high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images. They must also effectively communicate with customers and radiologists, and train new technologists.
A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate’s Degree preferred, alongside mandatory certification in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (N)) and CPR certification. Preferred experience is 1-2 years in Nuclear Medicine procedures, and the role demands flexibility to work across multiple locations.
Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. NMTCB or ARRT (N) State license, as required. CPR certification As applicable, valid state driver’s license. Experienced Nuclear Technologist with 3+ years’ experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies working in high-pressure/high visibility environments with regular patient satisfaction surveys. Previous experience managing business relationships with physicians and customers. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization and adapt to new environments quickly. Ability to work at several locations. Organizational and multi-tasking skills. Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs 90% travel may be required.
