RN Staff, Marshall Medical Centers North, Surgery - PACU, 1st Shift, Part time w/ Call

• Overview The following statements reflect the general duties considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job as identified and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements, which may be inherent in the position.
• Flexible hours and call are required.
• This position is responsible for patient observation and management in the immediate post-op period.
• A working knowledge of anesthetic agents and surgical procedures is required.
• Critical care skills are required specifically in the areas of airway, arrhythmia, and hemodynamic management.

Qualifications

Education/Licensure/Certification: · Must be a graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program with current Alabama licensure. · Must have 2 years Med/Surg or 1 year Critical Care experience. · Must maintain Current ACLS and PALS certification. · RNII / RN III: Meets established requirements.
