The Licensed Practical Nurse provides patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, collaborating as part of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities. This role involves contributing to the implementation of patient care while adhering to regulatory standards and institutional policies.
A minimum requirement is a Diploma Program in practical nursing, along with a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and current AHA BLS certification. Certification to administer medications is required, and IV Certification is preferred.
