The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse, collaborating as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities. The LPN is responsible for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support impacting patient outcomes.
Candidates must possess a Diploma Program in Practical Nursing and hold a valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license along with current AHA BLS certification. Certification to administer medications is required, and IV Certification is preferred.
