This isn't just about managing behaviors; it’s about teaching a child how to communicate their needs, making a trip to the park a success, and giving families the tools to flourish. If you want to make your community stronger by fostering a sense of inclusion, we want to meet you. Training provided. $20 starting rate if you already have BHP certification.
  • In this role, you will: Work directly with children with IDD to develop positive behavior strategies. Collaborate with families, educators, and therapists to create a comprehensive support system. Utilize evidence-based practices to promote emotional well-being and skill development. Make a lasting impact on the lives of these incredible children.

QualificationsQualifications A patient, caring, and positive attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to build rapport and trust with individuals with IDD. A willingness to learn and adapt to individual needs. A high school diploma or equivalent. Valid state issued driver’s license, current vehicle insurance declaration and vehicle registration. Access to a reliable vehicle. The ability to pass comprehensive background checks per state and company regulations/policies Must be able to provide 2 professional references.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with insurance and registration, and access to a reliable vehicle. Essential personal attributes include a patient, caring, and positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to learn and adapt to individual needs.
