Hospice Aides, who are Certified Nursing Assistants, perform personal care needs for clients and support daily needs according to the hospice plan of care. This includes recording vital health information and communicating effectively with clients and co-workers under nurse supervision.
Candidates must possess a current State CNA Certification in good standing and a valid CPR with BLS card, along with a valid driver's license and operational vehicle with minimum required auto insurance. They must also demonstrate organizational skills, the ability to work without direct supervision, and commitment to professional boundaries.
