The role involves assisting in providing medical insight, working autonomously, and participating in the assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care. Key duties also include providing oversight and training to direct care staff regarding medical systems and participating in team meetings by giving medically related in-services.
The minimum requirement for this position is holding a New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License. Preferred qualifications include experience in Med/Surg and working with the intellectually and developmentally disabled population.
