The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts therapy programs to facilitate the rehabilitation of individuals with physical or psychosocial disabilities by directing participation in selected treatments to restore health. This role also involves performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, educating patients/families, participating in discharge planning, and handling documentation and billing.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Physical Therapy program and licensed in Ohio and/or hold a Multi-State Compact license, with required evaluation and treatment skills appropriate for the patient caseload. Applicants must also possess professional initiative, good time management, interpersonal skills, and the physical ability to provide treatment and assist with patient mobility, with Basic Life Support required within 90 days.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program required. Evaluation and treatment skills necessary to provide Physical Therapy appropriate to the developmental and chronological age of patients on caseload. Professional initiative, objectivity, good time management and interpersonal skills. Physically, cognitively and perceptually able to provide patient treatment and able to assist in physical mobility of patients and equipment. Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 Days. Licensed Physical Therapist, Ohio and/or Multi State Compact license required.
