Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

NuvoAir·Dresden, Tennessee

$50 - $57/hr·Part Time·On Site·2-5 yrs·Posted 4 months ago
Practice for this role

About the role

The role involves providing outpatient pulmonary and primary care to adult patients with conditions like COPD and asthma, conducting evaluations, follow-up visits, and coordinating care with supervising pulmonologists. Responsibilities also include reviewing diagnostics, managing treatment plans, educating patients, and collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical support staff.

NuvoAir Medical is a technology-enabled pulmonary care organization that powers the Dresden Family Clinic, focused on improving outcomes for patients with chronic respiratory diseases such as COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, and other complex pulmonary conditions.

Our relationship-based model combines remote patient monitoring and proactive clinical engagement to keep patients healthier and out of the hospital.

Complex conditions like COPD are incredibly challenging to manage.

People who are already struggling with isolation and the burden of these conditions become increasingly frustrated and disengaged, eventually falling through the cracks and landing in the ER.

This cycle perpetuates poor health outcomes and excessive medical costs.

At NuvoAir, we believe people deserve a better healthcare experience. Our team embraces the challenges that others can’t or won’t - by integrating our clinical team with technology, NuvoAir creates a highly empathetic and personalized experience for each patient.

Market context

Advanced practice roles in Tennessee

Advanced-practice roles in Tennessee are often shaped by steady demand in hospice, palliative care, and other settings that need licensed clinicians who can manage complex patients. These positions are competitive because employers typically look for an accredited NP, CNS, or PA background, an active Tennessee license, national certification, and an unrestricted DEA, with hospice, palliative care, ICU experience, or ACHPN/HPCC certification often preferred. If you are considering applying, confirm your licensure and certification status first, and use the platform’s AI-summarized requirements and benefits to quickly compare roles without reading every original posting.
