Med Techs administer and accurately record prescribed medications under nurse supervision, obtain and report vital signs, and manage the medication supply. They also provide personal care, assist residents with daily living activities, and conduct rounds to monitor safety and resident condition.
Candidates should ideally have six months of experience passing medications in a retirement community setting, though CMA certification is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, and possess caring, organized, and multi-tasking abilities.
