The Physical Therapist organizes and conducts physical therapy programs to facilitate client rehabilitation by directing participation in tasks designed to restore function and promote independence. Essential functions include evaluating clients, developing treatment goals, implementing therapy plans, and completing all related documentation and record keeping.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited physical therapy curriculum and certified by the American Physical Therapy Association, willing to practice according to state guidelines. Good organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills are also required.
