The X-Ray Technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, ensuring patient safety and comfort in a busy Urgent Care setting. This role also involves hands-on clinical support, including patient triage, taking vitals, and assisting with basic patient care procedures.
· Prepare patients for x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety · Exercise professional judgment and provide patient care essential to the radiology procedures · Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by providers, including orthopedic images · Triage patients, and provide basic point of care testing after training · Assist other staff members (Certified Medical Assistants, Medical Office Associates, Providers) as needed · Must be available to work evenings and weekends, be willing to travel to other sites, willing to travel in inclement weather · Willing to become UDS, BAT, and/or DOT certified and performed related responsibilities · All other duties as assigned by Practice Operations Manager or Practice Administrator
