The Occupational Therapist is responsible for planning, evaluating, and treating patients within a clinical behavioral health inpatient setting according to their occupational therapy needs. This includes providing established occupational therapy programs, patient care, education, and implementing comprehensive discharge plans.
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program is required, though a Master's Degree is preferred; a combination of relevant education and experience may substitute for the degree. Candidates must possess a Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License, National Board Certification, and Basic Life Support certification, with one year of experience in an Occupational Therapy Setting preferred.
The Occupational Therapist plans, evaluates and treats patients related to their occupational therapy needs within a clinical behavioral health inpatient setting. Provides established occupational therapy programs including patient care and education. Evaluates and treats patients and establishes treatment programs and/or implements comprehensive discharge plans. Directs support personnel within the scope of practice.
