The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to residents, administering medications and treatments, and guiding ancillary staff according to established care plans and regulations. Key duties include utilizing the nursing process for comprehensive resident assessment and intervention, and ensuring accurate medication distribution and inventory management.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing or possess equivalent education for licensing, with no prior experience explicitly required. Essential requirements include maintaining competency in nursing skills, constant use of speech for communication, constant standing and walking, and holding necessary state-specific RN licenses along with Basic Life Support certification.
