The Clinical Technician assists in delivering direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing basic activities of daily living support and measuring vital signs. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation, reinforcing discharge teaching, and timely communication of patient status changes to the RN.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent and are preferred to have prior healthcare experience. A mandatory requirement is the ability to attend a 6-week training period, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
High School graduate or equivalent.
BLS within 90 days of hire (from the American Heart Association).
Training: Candidate must be able to attend a 6 week training
