The Clinical Technician assists in delivering direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, providing basic activities of daily living support and measuring vital signs. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation, reinforcing discharge teaching, and timely communication of patient status changes to the RN.
The Inova Cares for Families clinic in Annandale is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician to join our team.
This role will be full time, Monday through Thursday 0830am to 5:00pm.
Fridays 0800am to 4:30pm.

Job Responsibilities Assists in processing of medication orders under supervision of Registered Nurse.
Demonstrates competency in all required clinical skills and technologies in accordance with Inova Health System policies and procedures.
Completes assigned patient duties within the established time frame.
Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development in providing care for the patient population assigned.
Completes necessary documentation accurately and reinforces discharge teaching and home care skills.
Communicates changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse in a timely manner.
Partners with Registered Nurse to create a professional development plan to provide employee with the necessary skills to deliver up to date patient care.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
High School graduate or equivalent.
BLS within 90 days of hire (from the American Heart Association).
Training: Candidate must be able to attend a 6 week training
