The Radiologic Technologist performs ionizing radiographic and fluoroscopic exams while ensuring patient safety and security. They are responsible for gathering accurate documentation and providing quality images with efficiency.
Candidates must be graduates of a certified Radiologic Technology program and hold a current state license. A.R.R.T. (R) registration and BLS/CPR certification are also required for this position.
IMAGING: Provides quality images with accuracy and efficiency, using optimal skills and knowledge of all equipment. DOCUMENTATION: Gathers complete documentation of all pertinent information to provide accurate and timely service to customers. PERSONAL & PATIENT CARE AND SAFETY: Provides for personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards so there is no injury to self or others. PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR: Practices professional communications, appearance, conduct, punctuality, attendance and attitude that lead to physician, patient and co-worker respect and confidence.
Education: Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology school or program. Skills/Knowledge: Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions. Licensure Current applicable state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required. Registered Radiological Technologist A.R.R.T. (R) required. BLS/CPR Certification: Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS/CPR certification. Pay Range USD $40.06 - USD $57.28 /Hr.
